Our Team

Our mission is simple yet powerful: to offer the best value in local roofing by delivering tailored solutions that fit any budget, and by prioritizing repairs over replacements whenever possible.

Caitlynne Honour

Co-Owner and General Contractor

Caitlynne Honour is a Georgia native and graduate of Appalachian State University, where she earned a bachelor’s degree in Molecular Biology. Before entering the construction industry, she spent more than a decade working in veterinary medicine, combining her love of science with a lifelong passion for animals.

By day, Caitlynne serves as the owner and General Contractor of Honour Roofing & Construction, a role she never expected to pursue but has embraced wholeheartedly. She enjoys helping homeowners navigate roofing projects with honesty, education, and a customer-first approach.

By night, she is the author of five children’s books written under the pen name Caitlynne Garland. While writing began as a personal passion project, she enjoys creating stories that celebrate kindness, perseverance, inclusion, and the special bond between people and animals.

When she’s not working, Caitlynne can usually be found reading, writing, hiking, or spending time with her husband, Cameron. They live in Apex, North Carolina, with their four dogs -River, Annie, Milo, and Penny – and two cats, Darwin and Ellie.

Cameron Honour

Co-Owner and Senior Project Consultant

Cameron is a Triangle native and graduate of Western Carolina University, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in Recreation Therapy. Throughout his career, he has combined a passion for helping others with a love of the outdoors, working in substance abuse treatment, adaptive sports programs, wilderness therapy, and outdoor education. His adventures have taken him across the country as a whitewater guide and instructor, leading wilderness expeditions and helping individuals of all abilities build confidence through outdoor recreation.

Cameron holds certifications as a Wilderness First Responder and in Swiftwater Rescue, and he remains deeply committed to spending time outside whenever possible. Whether on a river, a mountain trail, or a snowboard, he believes some of life’s best lessons are learned through adventure.

Construction found Cameron when he returned to Raleigh in 2017 to be closer to family. What began as a project consultant role quickly evolved into leadership positions, including branch management, before ultimately leading him to co-found Honour Roofing & Construction. Today, Cameron is dedicated to building a different kind of roofing company—one focused on education rather than pressure, transparency rather than sales tactics, and helping homeowners make informed decisions that are right for their families and budgets. He is passionate about restoring trust in an industry that often struggles with its reputation and believes that honest service and strong relationships are the foundation of long-term success.

When he’s not on a roof, Cameron can usually be found paddling one of North Carolina’s many rivers, mountain biking, road cycling, snowboarding, or searching for his next great meal. He also enjoys rewatching The Wire, spending time with his wife, Caitlynne, and their growing collection of animals. His current long-term projects include convincing Caitlynne that they absolutely need pet goats and persuading her to approve just one more snowboard trip.

Royce Cormell

Senior Project Consultant

Royce has called Raleigh home since 2006. A graduate of Middle Creek High School, he was a dedicated swimmer throughout his high school years, a passion that led him to become a swim instructor and eventually the head coach of the Crooked Creek Crocs summer swim team in Fuquay-Varina.

Before finding his niche in sales, Royce explored a variety of career paths and interests. His diverse background includes time in the fine dining industry as a chef, experience in graphic design and 3D modeling, and even a stint as a machinist. These experiences helped shape his creative problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and ability to connect with people from all walks of life.

Today, Royce is passionate about helping customers navigate their construction projects with confidence and clarity. He thrives on building relationships, networking, and making meaningful connections throughout the community. Known for his personable approach and commitment to customer service, Royce enjoys finding solutions that meet his clients’ needs while making the process as smooth and stress-free as possible.

When he’s not meeting with homeowners or networking around the Triangle, Royce enjoys cooking, playing board games, and spending time with his fiancée, Nicole, and their dog, Zoe. If you’re lucky, he may also treat you to one of his impressive close-up magic performances—an unexpected talent that never fails to leave people wondering, “How did he do that?”

Charles Michael Willis

Project Consultant

Charles Michael is the guy who will tell you the unvarnished truth about your roof—even if that means telling you that you don’t need a replacement.

In an industry often associated with high-pressure sales, Charles believes homeowners deserve honest advice and practical solutions. His construction background started early through building trades classes and long summers spent working on roofs. Those experiences taught him what quality craftsmanship looks like—and the expensive problems that happen when corners are cut.

As a member of a six-generation commercial fishing family from the North Carolina coast, hard work has always been a way of life. Charles also brings a strong customer-service background to the roofing industry. During his time at The Umstead Hotel & Spa, North Carolina’s premier five-star hotel, he learned the importance of proactive communication, attention to detail, and creating an exceptional customer experience. Today, he brings that same level of care and professionalism to every homeowner he serves.

Raleigh’s vibrant culture drew Charles inland more than 16 years ago, and he is proud to call the Triangle home. He is passionate about helping protect the homes and families in his community and enjoys volunteering with several local organizations whenever he can.

When he’s not inspecting roofs, Charles can usually be found exploring local restaurants, visiting art museums, gaming, or spending time with his dog and two cats. Thanks to his coastal roots, he can still catch just about anything that swims. He’s also a classically trained singer- though homeowners can rest easy knowing he rarely breaks into song during a roof inspection.

River Junior Pawject Manager

River Honour

Pawject Manager

River was born in October of 2016 and was adopted into his forever family in January of 2017 shortly after having his front leg amputated. As a puppy, he was hit by a car and his leg suffered irreparable damage.

Since being adopted he has been hard at work at perfecting the best napping position. In the fall of 2019, he became known worldwide as River the Three-Legged Dog, spreading a message of inclusion.

River’s favorite things are napping in mom’s reading chair, digging, playing in puddles (especially the muddy ones), cheese, baseballs, and cuddle time with his family.

Milo Director of Barketing

Milo

Director of Barketing

Milo was born in June of 2020 and was adopted when he was 8 weeks old on August 12th. He has, since that day, been nothing but a ball of energy trapped in dog fur.

Milo is quite the brave little pup. Like most small dogs, his huge personality makes up for his short stature. Who knew the protector of the house would weigh in at 15 pounds?

Milo’s favorite things include peanut butter, hiking/exploring, peanut butter, car rides, peanut butter, his big brother River, peanut butter, toys and cuddling with his mom. Seriously though, he loves peanut butter.

Penny CEO of Belly Scratches

Penny

CEO of Belly Scratches

Penny was found as a stray in a rural area of North Carolina in the Summer of 2024. She was taken in by Cameron and Caitlynne as a “foster” through Freedom Ride Rescue. Foster Fail they did.

Penny loves her people and her two brothers, taking great joy in biting Milo’s ankles and tail while they play. If Penny could offer one piece of advice to the world: When in doubt, roll over for a belly rub.

Annie Chief Retrieval Expert

Annie

Chief Retrieval Expert

Annie found herself stuck in a kennel at a local shelter this summer, which is no place for a distinguished lady. She clicked into the Honour family as though she’s been there from the start.

Annie has a love for all things relating to the great game of fetch. Just say the word “Ball” and she will be awakened from the deepest of sleeps, ready to play. She has yet to meet a human or animal she didn’t like and she is hard at work training the resident cats to throw the ball.

Zoe Assistant to the Pawject Consultant

Zoe

Assistant to the Pawject Consultant

Zoe was adopted in December of 2023. She has always had one ear up and one ear down–working hard to pick up the best streaming channels. She is quite the cuddler and will waste no time hopping on the couch to hang out, especially if a nap results!

Her favorite thing to do is chew and play tug. She will often bring you the toy of choice. She is one smart pup, performing many tricks, so long as her preferred method of payment is close at hand, popcorn.

Sumo Head of Pup-Lick Relations

Sumo

Head of Pup-Lick Relations

Sumo is a German-Indian Dog who enjoys the simple pleasures of life. He is incredibly loyal and although his wolf-like appearance may have you thinking otherwise, he is a giant baby. When he isn’t sprawled out on his back napping, he’s most likely checking in on his Mom, Dad and lil bro to make sure everybody is good and happy.

Sumo loves the great outdoors. If he could live outside, he would. He loves to wrestle and play but he is also extremely good at chilling, so if you throw a ball for him it’s about 50/50 whether he is going to chase it or just stare at it and make you go get it.

Moose Assistant to the Pawduction Manager

Moose

Assistant to the Pawduction Manager

Moose is Sumo’s (very) little brother. Moose joined the family in September 2023 and has been such an incredible addition. He brings so much joy and love to every single day. If he isn’t right next to you or under your feet, he’s on your lap. He loves to curl up in a little donut and just snuggle for hours on end. If you can’t seem to find him, check the bed under all the blankets, he loves to burrow and disappear for naps.

Moose looks up to (literally) his big brother Sumo so much and loves to learn from him. We’re convinced they even work together to scheme up ways to get treats and new toys on the regular.

Bailey Malia

Bailey Malia

Relaxation Specialist

Born in October 2011, this sweet senior girl has fully embraced retirement life—and she’s earned every minute of it. After years of adventures, she now spends her days enjoying the finer things: long naps, cozy blankets, and her own dedicated section of the couch surrounded by a carefully curated collection of favorite toys.

While she may have slowed down a bit with age, her love of travel hasn’t faded. Whether it’s a trip to the mountains or a visit to a new town, she’s always ready to ride shotgun and watch the world pass by from her favorite window seat.

Quiet and a little shy by nature, she is happiest when she’s close to her mom and dad. You’ll rarely find her far from their side, faithfully following along and serving as a constant reminder that sometimes the best adventures are simply spending time with the people you love.

River, a dog

River

Pawsitive Intern

River is a beloved part of the Honour family and a joyful reminder that every day is better with a wagging tail. With a playful spirit, a gentle heart, and a loyal personality, she brings happiness wherever she goes—whether she is headed out for an adventure, curling up for a cuddle, or simply keeping everyone company.

Known for her friendly nature and endless enthusiasm, River has a special way of making people feel welcome. She loves spending time with her family, exploring new places, going for walks, and soaking up attention from the people she loves most.

When she is not playing, relaxing, or being her wonderfully silly self, River is busy doing what dogs do best: filling each day with warmth, laughter, and unconditional love.

Rory the dog

In Loving Memory 2018-2024

Rory

Rory was born in August of 2018 and was adopted by River on his “birthday”! At the time of adoption, she was 8 weeks old and soon christened the “Raging-Ball-of-Brown-Fur.”

Rory’s one true love in life is River. She loves her big brother. They have had many adventures together, with River pulling her out of her anxious shell. She is timid around new people, but once you are a part of her circle, she is loving to an obnoxious level.

Rory’s favorite things include hiking, running, stealing toys from her brothers (especially Milo), rotisserie chicken, de-stuffing stuffy toys, and getting love from her dad, Cameron.
